Tweed Civic and Cultural Centre

Tweed Shire Council constructed and opened the Murwillumbah Civic Centre in 1975 as a multi-purpose auditorium. The venue was opened by the Hon. Tom Lewis on 24 May 1975. The Auditorium has performed a valuable role for the Shire and its community over the past 39 years.

Additional purpose: Venue can be used for exhibitions, conventions, forums, trade shows

Resident organisations at Tweed Civic and Cultural Centre: Nil although Tweed Theatre Company are unofficially based at the Centre

Co-located facility:Co-located with Library, Council administration and Meeting Room can also be found at the same location as Tweed Civic and Cultural Centre.
