Lane Cove Civic Centre
Last updated Friday, 26 Nov 2010.Lane Cove Civic Centre was adapted in the early 1990s from a town hall that stood on this site for about 80 years. The purposes of Lane Cove Civic Centre are to provide offices for the transaction of council's business and to provide spaces for public meetings, entertainment and, when necessary, night shelters.
Additional purpose: Lane Cove Civic Centre contains meeting rooms and multipurpose exhibition/concert spaces.
Co-located facility:Lane Cove Civic Centre is next door to Lane Cove Aquatic Leisure Centre and Synergy Youth Centre. Lane Cove Council and the Aquatic Leisure Centre are in partnership to produce a number of activities, such as the "Sunset in the Village" festival for which the Aquatic Centre provides jazz concerts and outdoor movies shown on an inflatable screen. can also be found at the same location as Lane Cove Civic Centre.
