Hawkesbury Regional Gallery

Last updated Friday, 26 Nov 2010.

The Hawkesbury Regional Gallery opened in conjunction with the new Deerubbin Centre, which is also home to Hawkesbury Central Library. More than 500 guests attended the official opening of the Gallery on 25 June 2005. The Gallery was established as a free, non collecting public gallery with a focus on temporary exhibitions and associated public programs. Community engagement and support - particularly through the gallery members and volunteer groups - is a key priority. The exhibition program provides a balance of media and curatorial focus over a two year period, along with contemporary Australian visual art and local and regional artistic practice.

Co-located facility:Co-located with Library. Visual Arts marketing material positioned in the library can also be found at the same location as Hawkesbury Regional Gallery.
