Glasshouse Arts, Conference & Entertainment Centre
Last updated Tuesday, 29 Nov 2011.The Glasshouse is located right in the CBD and is perfectly positioned to take full advantage of quality accommodation, shopping, parking, ocean beaches and the beautiful Hastings River. The facility has only been open since July 2009, however it is positioned to be the premier arts, conference and entertainment venue on the New South Wales mid north coast. An ideal venue for conferences, meetings, community events and school programs, the Glasshouse is purpose designed to accommodate conferences of up to 600 delegates, comprising a state-of-the-art theatre, performance studio, expansive foyer and breakout spaces over multiple levels, with commercial catering facilities, heritage displays and an international standard gallery. The facility has an 'On Tour' theatre program, gallery and education and heritage programs. While the venue operates as a function and conference centre, it now combines those services with an extensive year-round program of local, national and international theatre events.
