Bondi Waverley School of Arts
Last updated Wednesday, 14 Sep 2011.The Bondi-Waverley School of Arts has been operating as a cultural facility since its establishment in 1914.
The building has rooms for commercial and community hire booked through Waverley Library on 9386 7709. The upstairs hall has a stage and ballet bars for dance classes and the ground floor has a large meeting room and small workshop room
The old caretakers cottage has been used as artist studios under Waverley Council's Artist-in-Residence Program. Visual artists apply annually to have a rent free studio for 6 months, in return for delivering a community arts project

The school has been running since 1968, all courses are conducted by practising artists providing high standards of tuition in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The Waverley Woollahra Art School administers the annual Waverley Art Prize on behalf of Waverley Council and runs popular school holiday art classes for children www.wwas.org.au
