Artist Residency, Petersham

The aim of the Local and National Artist Residency Program is to contribute to the on-going development of Marrickville’s relationships with local and regional NSW artists, interstate artists and assisting local and national cultural collaborations. The program provides professional development opportunities for artists while promoting cultural understanding and development in communities. Applications from emerging and mid-career artists of all disciplines are welcomed.

Artist accommodation is located at the Petersham Town Hall Artist Residence. The resident artist will be expected to do their own work and to make a contribution to the cultural life of the Marrickville community, and will draw valuable experience by planning and managing their own program.

Additional purpose: This is an artist residency for local, national and international artists to stay from 1 - 3 months.
