Welcome to the Cultural Facilities Directory

This Directory provides information about publicly owned NSW cultural infrastructure outside the Sydney CBD including performing arts centres, exhibition spaces, galleries, museums and community halls. It lists facilities regularly used for paid, professional arts practice, presentation or exhibition and can assist in planning one-off activities and tours.

What is in the Directory?
You can find information such as capacity, technical resources, hospitality, backstage resources and accessibility. An interactive map is included to help pinpoint locations and contact details are provided so you can get in touch with the facility.

How to use the Directory
Use the Search box at the top right hand side of the page by entering keywords including type of facility, type of use, the local government area, town or city, the name of the facility.

The database is a resource of Arts NSW, with information supplied by local government authorities, initially compiled by Positive Solutions. The site has been developed by Interaction Consortium, and is hosted by the Powerhouse Museum.
